Final Task

Image
We have finally reached the end. Although, we faced some hardships we finally have finished. It felt like we weren't going to make it to the finish line because of many problems facing the way. This was one of the best projects we've done as a group because we've learned so much more. We were able to take everything we've learned and research and bring it together as one once again. We started off very strong coming into the project, but things took a turn. April was very busy for most of us due to testing season and personal reasons. Today we focused on making sure everything was in place before we started our last blog. It was harder to get together to do what needed to be done in order to finish the whole thing. Once we finally got together we shot extra clips and made sure we did rolling scenes. When it came to editing even though our original plan was to link up again we made the zoom call work. We made sure everyone did their part in order to complete this. My job

What’s Next

During the filming project, we wanted to incorporate everyone into it. Our biggest challenge was figuring out how we were going to record when one of our groupmates came down with something. We wanted to make sure everyone was safe but also make sure the job got done.  I was one of the actors including Kadia Khan. We ran into a few problems that turned out whole idea of things around. I was supposed to bring another girl for the video but because we switched days so she wasn't able to make it. I convinced Anayah to be the 3rd girl because she didn't want to be one of the actors. We were following the scenes step by step so I and Anayah mostly took turns shooting them. I brought my tripod along to help with capturing different scenes that required all of us in the shot. We started at Rock Bar and since it's been so long since we last saw each other we all were enjoying our time before we actually got started. We threw out ideas of how we should start it by also following t

Steps in the Right Direction

We have finally gotten our film together in a way. We almost didn't meet up and would have to reschedule. I was only going to have an hour and that wasn't going to be enough time for us but I was able to get there so we could get most of what we needed. When I arrived it was just Anayah and we had to wait for Kadia to come which was like 10 minutes later. I brought up the idea of just going ahead and starting but Kadia was the main portion of right film. Once she got there we wasted no time to get started. We added all of the fake blood where it was needed and made sure all the costumes were good. It was a little tricky at first because we weren't set on our scenes and wanted to make sure we had everything. Although we are a group there was a lot of laughing and mess-ups but we were able to get it down pack. We are fortunate to have had Kadia's cousin Ashanti there with us to help record when all of us were needed in the shot. We were able to get most of our shots done

Facing the Challenges

As this project is coming to an end it feels as if we will be on crunch time. So many things have popped up and now we’re working hard to get everything finished. Shooting will have to start on the 3rd because of things happening on my side of the field. With such little time we hope to get everything done by Saturday and Sunday. This was suppose to be a smooth project that in the end we could just sit and watch but so many things have taken a toll. When we first got this project our problem was choosing the right pitch but now that we have it filming is our problem. As we’ve been in a group before this has never been a situation. We have to make sure we go out and get more props in order to complete all costumes and looks. We want to give our all and not rush it. April will be a busy time for my group mates and I as testing season is coming up. If we were doing this individually this would be way harder. When we link up again we plan to get together earlier so we have more time. We’ll
